A few days ago I bought four of these pears because they looked extremely good in the store. I don't think I had ever seen such beautiful pears before. But unfortunately I had to throw them all in the compost. Inside, all four were brown and spoiled. Even though I had cut everything away, the "lean" rest, i.e. the flesh close to the skin, didn't taste good at all. I have also experienced this several times with apples. I think it's because of these storage houses filled with a special gas. The fruit remains perfect on the outside, but changes on the inside. You should actually take something like this back to Migros and ask for your money back. I'll probably do that in future...
