This problem is caused by too high a sealing temperature and/or uneven sealing pressure when the lid is closed. We have already taken various measures to improve the tear resistance of yogurt lids. If you make an effort, you shouldn't be surprised if you end up with some ;-) By the way, I've mentioned it before: the plastic lids on organic yogurts never tear. I also can't understand how anyone can still insist on using aluminum, which is an extremely energy-intensive raw material for production, apart from the scars that bauxite mining leaves behind in the affected landscapes.
