i haven't found these steel cut oatsausser in organic stores anywhere yet. it would be a great addition to the migros range. i love oat flakes in any form and this would add variety to the fine organic flakes and the coarse oat flakes that are already available.

Hello barbonfb,
Thank you for your message. If I'm not mistaken, the steel cut oats differ from the Migros range in that they are cut instead of crushed. I will forward your request to the product managers and ask whether such an introduction is planned.
Kind regards,

the oat flakes from migros are so-called rolled oats, i.e. the whole oat grain is steamed, pressed and then dried. steel cut oats are coarsely chopped, otherwise untreated oat grains. the difference is certainly noticeable when eating, but both types have the same nutritional value. i think migros already has something similar in its range with corn and buckwheat.
Yes, porridge would be great. Organic would be even better. There would be lots of customers, especially in Zurich at alnatura. Americans and Brits are always looking for "steel cut oats" when they're abroad, and that's the equivalent of porridge. And now that porridge is in fashion, many people want to try the original with oat groats.
