Like at ALDI: apples from the 2019 harvest from the gas warehouse. The skin is waxy, the flesh tasteless, mealy, some are rotting. A rip-off! When Gravensteiner is advertised, I don't expect goods that are a whole year old, but fresh apples. And again with the walnuts: Grenoble nuts from 2019 thrown in and only rancid old nuts in the potato bread. Please, apples and nuts, they have to be fresh. Don't you Migros people eat fruit? It would do you good.
If possible, I always include positive things. I forgot that in my anger. Now with hindsight: last year, Migros had four Gravensteiner apples for one franc and they were first class. A good apple for 25 centimes attracts me and I'm happy to be tied in as a customer. Certainly not a great deal for Migros, but I return and that's worth something. Unfortunately again: cardboard and plastic around the apples. So, the Gravensteiner doesn't seem to be at the top of the list of priorities. I can understand that, as it only lasts about two weeks. The theme is nature. What grows and can be harvested should be offered locally and promptly. Gravensteiner, where I spit out the first bite, please no more.

It's sad that Migros never commented on your article... I bought Gravensteiner at Coop this week and found exactly what you wrote about 3 years ago: The skin was disgustingly oily, the flesh was just flour in terms of consistency and it has a lot of very large rotten spots... Too bad... On the subject of fraudulent labeling: I was in the Migros store in Biasca 2 weeks ago and bought Braeburn according to the label. When I ate the apples with my father, he said that they couldn't possibly be Braeburns...

Label fraud? Now at ALDI, what is sold there as Gravensteiner is a tasteless, waxy-skinned giant apple, certainly not Gravensteiner. Incidentally, I picked up an apple under a tree the day before yesterday and ate it at home. It was a wonderful Bernese rose! Anyone who doesn't know how to enjoy it has no idea about apples. So now ALDI is also working with desk criminals. MIGROS people, do you notice anything?
