I visited Migipedia via browser for the first time today. I'm using Chrome and the Migros APP is installed, but to my astonishment Migipedia knows - although I've never visited it - that I've bought a drill and what kind of oil I need for cooking. How does that work?
Have you linked your Cumulus account to the central Migros account? If so, that's how Migipedia knows.

hmmm... but I'm using the browser for migipedia and I haven't logged in with my Migros or Cumulus account. I guess there is a password synch active on my cell phone.

... by the way: Dr. Google is also always active 🤣 nobody escapes him... everything has to be financed.
However, I would have some reservations about surfing the web with Chrome. You're busy kicking all the Google services out of the browser for a while - and then you might forget something after all. Chrome-based browsers, for example, have it: https://vivaldi.com/ https://brave.com/ which have some add-ons (e.g. adblockers) built in and you don't have to kick out those Google services.
Hi Gluvita I think I'll say something about that too ;-). Our recommendations work by linking Migros login and Cumulus data. So if you have connected the two "services" and use the same login data for Migipedia, we can show you which products you have bought. Very important: only you can see this. .... and this is exactly how the information bubble is created 🙃🙂 (not referring to you or your question) but in general how today's information, browser histories, cookies etc. work. sad (in my opinion).
Thanks for all the answers. I had actually saved the Migros login in the browser, which I never do, as I don't really consider the browser settings to be a secure storage location. This also explains why Migipedia recognized me and my purchases without a login.
