Why are these two products, which are so to speak basics for the vegan kitchen, no longer available?
Apparently without replacement. That would really be a big step backwards :(

Hi Richi, thanks for the info, it has since been clarified: the stores no longer had it because of these same changes. I've now been told it will be available again soon. The chopped one is already available again. But it's a shame: the packaging is much bigger, so there's still room for improvement.

Hello @alalea, thank you for your feedback. Many of the Cornatur Quorn products are now pasteurized. This means that these products now have a longer shelf life. However, for this process we have to choose packaging that allows pasteurization in the sealed tray and has good heat stability. The plastic trays may now appear more bulky, but this new process allows us to massively reduce food waste, which we unfortunately had to accept before due to the extremely short shelf life, so the bottom line is that the new value chain is now much more ecological than before.
