On Tuesday, October 22, I bought a net of "Fresca" clementines, 2 kg promotion, at M Scheffelstrasse Zurich. I didn't eat any of them immediately after buying them, but left the net in the kitchen. By Friday, 9 of them were moldy. Two more of the rest this morning. I'm not a fan of pesticides, but even less of food waste. That's why I'm asking how Migros is tackling this problem. Mandarins, clementines and oranges have often gone moldy like this before. Mostly the ones that were on promotion. The clementines on promotion often had dried out insides. Do you buy 2nd class goods for promotions? As these fruits are sold unrefrigerated, I assumed that they don't need to be kept in the fridge. Am I wrong?
