in germany you can have the bread cut by the machine in many bread stores, great idea, the bread crumbs don't fly around in the kitchen at home ! would that be a sales-promoting idea ?

As a customer, I would not use this service. Sure, it's practical, but it makes the bread dry and hard quickly and would just make it even more expensive I suppose... Besides, if you don't have limited strength in your wrists/arms, it's really no effort at all. Neither is cleaning up the crumbs 😂 But I can only speak for myself, not for others 😊

However, we have found that the majority of customers do not take advantage of this offer and have therefore decided against introducing it across the board.
