Focaccia with Grana Padano
Apart from that, I only eat organic bread. In addition to the two (light and dark) pain carre, I like the Sonnenkranz and especially the Sonnenhof bread. The latter is always eaten toasted, with or without spread.
When I saw the focaccia in a separate display, I couldn't resist and was compelled to grab it. As a lover of the intense taste of dried tomatoes, it was a must. The yeast dough pastry with tomatoes and Grana Padano would have been eaten within minutes. But then again, love reasserted itself and only allowed two thin slices per meal.
This bread of the month is simply delicious!
