A few months ago, I was in Migros at Zurich main station and wanted to buy some sandwiches for a snack. I particularly like the potato-nut, soy-fit and also the olive bread, with the potato-nut being my absolute favorite. That's why I bought some of these rolls and was extremely disappointed when I tried to eat them and they were just rock hard and dry! The potato-nut and the soy-fit in particular were a huge disappointment, as they are normally perfect:(
That put me off a bit and I didn't buy any more. However, after a few weeks (in February) I wanted to give them another chance and bought another Kartoffel-Nuss and a Semmeli or Bürli, I can't remember. These too: Hard as a rock and barely edible. You can already tell from the outside of the Kartoffel-Nuss, as they are now much thinner in color than before.
Last week, on 19.05.18, I went back to Migros and wanted to get a bread roll. I was already looking forward to my potato-nut and picked it up when I realized that it was rock hard this time too. Unfortunately, I had taken it with my bare hands, and that may be news to some people: Once you've touched it with your hands, you don't put it back!!! unless you can wash it off (an apple, for example). Although I have to admit that I did consider simply putting it back, because the money was really too good for me... But my conscience wouldn't let me, so I had to take this ugly, rock-hard pastry to the checkout and buy it.
I've learned that I always squeeze the rolls with tongs in Migros before I take them.
But I still wanted to ask: What's actually going on in this Migros???? Am I the only one who has had this experience? Does this Migros have a new employee who operates the oven and always leaves them in the oven for too long????
I want answers!!! Because I would love to be able to go back to this Migros and just enjoy my damn potato-nut roll without regretting the money!!!
So, please let me know when you've fixed the problem so I know I can go back to buying my rolls there with peace of mind :)
Thank you!
