Bees have a certain flight radius, which they cover for pollen flight. If a certain percentage of this radius lies over organic or Demeter fields, the honey is then organic or Demeter. In addition, the bees are kept in a more species-appropriate way. With organic or Demeter, not all the honey may be replaced by sugar water, the beehives may not be made of plastic, etc...

Interesting info: In the plains, the radius (according to "hearsay") should be approx. 3km. How wide is the radius in the foothills of the Alps, in the Jura or even in the Alps?
