Hello, I can no longer find this quinoa in any Migros in the Hochdorf area. Have you taken it off the market?
Hello Porridgelover, thank you for your question. Unfortunately, there is a longer delivery interruption for this product. We will be able to offer it to you again around the end of June 2025. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Does it have to be washed first?
Hi indios, thank you for your question. Our specialist agency recommends washing the quinoa, although this is not mandatory. The main reason why quinoa should be washed is that the bitter substances (saponins) are largely washed out. With unwashed quinoa, the bitter substances can be perceived as unpleasant. Hopefully we have been able to help you with our answer. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

This quinoa is missing the (obligatory!) indication of origin at LeShop...
Hello My question: Is this quinoa whole grain or not? (I know that cous-cous, for example, is whole grain and not whole grain).
Hi Simonhertig Thank you for your post. botanically speaking, quinoa is not a grain at all, but belongs to the goosefoot family. The unappetising outer layer (the plant's own protection against pests) is removed from the grain. So in this sense, quinoa is not a whole grain. We hope we have helped you and wish you a pleasant afternoon. See you soon and best wishes from the M-Infoline team

Unfortunately, this quinoa product is no longer available in my Migros (Breitenrain). According to the friendly staff, it can no longer be ordered by shoppers (delivery problems or similar, so it is not visible in the purchasing system). This product is quite popular, surely alternatives should be possible?
We have good news:
The organic quinoa red will be available again in your Breitenrain store next week. Your M-Infoline Team

Must be cooked much longer than indicated on the packaging.
Dear guest
Thank you very much for your comment. We apologize for the late reply.
We have checked the cooking time and found no discrepancies. We recommend soaking the quinoa for at least 5 to 10 minutes before cooking to reduce the cooking time.
We hope this answer helps you and hope you enjoy your next purchase! Your M-Infoline team

That's right, I agree. It doesn't swell up after 10 minutes. I usually cook it for around 20 minutes, which is a bit annoying as I like to mix it with buckwheat, which is then rather mushy.
